🚨 A New Wave of Degree Mill Scams Targeting Professionals in the GCC 🚨

Lately, I’ve noticed a rise in scams targeting professionals and job seekers in the GCC...

Here’s how it works:

𝗙𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗟𝗶𝗻𝗸𝗲𝗱𝗜𝗻 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗶𝗹𝗲𝘀: The scammers create polished profiles, complete with fake work histories and certifications, and they actively post career tips to get people’s attention. Also, They use AI-modified photos to make their profiles appear more authentic.
𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗩𝗶𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗺𝘀: They direct people to bogus educational websites, claiming to be accredited by well-known institutions but it's all fake.
𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗜𝗻𝗳𝗼: Victims are asked to fill out forms with personal and financial information, which is later used for fraud.
𝗦𝗺𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗣𝗮𝘆𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁𝘀: Scammers start by asking for small amounts, like application fees or course deposits, which quickly add up.
𝗪𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗵𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗖𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀: In the end, victims are left with unrecognized certificates that hold no value for career advancement.
